I used the cloning tool on EaseUS Todo Backup Free to clone a 500 GB GPT HDD to a 1TB GPT SSD.
Near the beginning of the cloning process, it read:
'Start cloning MBR
MBR clone completed'
and then continued in the process, as shown in the image: https://liveuclac-my.sharepoint.com/:i:/g/personal/zcqsoyr_ucl_ac_uk/EeekT3PHXqJOuVOqJyDxzn4BazYAOcR4oWclAxUUsOsXlQ?e=3iQjyP
My question is: Does this mean that the program made the SSD into MBR format instead of GPT, even though both source and target disk were GPT? Or is it referring to something else?
