I just bought an LCD and I don't like it at all, I should have stuck with CRT's. However, I need a CRT that is very easy on the eyes, I restore old photos for a living and I get headaches occasionally. I understand that the EIZO Flexscan is the monitor to end all monitors, but is it worth the money? Thanks in advance...

Just make sure you find yourself a monitor that's capable of a good refresh rate (usually 85hz or higher) at the resolution that you want to run, and your eyes should be fine. Of course, it all depends on how sensitive your eyes are; It's different for everyone. My eyes are just fine running a monitor at 60hz, but alot of people will say it drives them nuts.

And getting a 17" monitor is good choice.
And use a resolution at 1024*768 for it to have a higher refresh rate.

Did you check out the Dell 1800FP for an LCD? I used it several weeks 10 hours a day straight and got no headaches and it's quite nice. (Have to lower the contrast and brightness a tad). Otherwise for a CRT, a 17" @ 100+ Hz should be fine. Get it flat as well.

LCD monitors have quadratic 'dots', while CRT monitors have elliptical 'dots'. Quadratic dots are user's eyes unfriendly, because of their sharp edges.
