EASYSAVER stuck on - ON

now when my installed my gigabyte motherboard it comes with easy saver, while on it would thottle the cpu from 3.2ghz down to 800 mhz and the cpu power watts from 80ish to 18w now if i turn the green button on or off it stays on 18w even if i uninstall it
any ideas? thanks

ok just a update ... when i disable cool and quiet in the bios i get the 3.2 ghz and 80w back but the easy saver does nothing now,any idea on how to fix it ?

That's weird.

Doesn't it clock up when you load it? Or that's what CnQ is supposed to do. Maybe you haven't set the S-states right. I dunno.

s-states ? is that something in the bios

If you run a program does it speed up or stay at 800 mhz, this is good technilogy that is supposed to adjust with the load used on computer.

Try running a bunch of program too see if it speed ups

it stays at 800 the only way i get the 3.2 ghz is reboot and disable cool and quiet in the bios.
easy energy saver doesnt work at all now, it use to

Cool and quiet is supposed to throttle based on damand for CPU resources. You would need to run something meaningful such as super pim this shoudl cause enough activity to boost it into full power mode.

no i tryed fallout but it crashers and the graphics get messed up ....unless i disable cool and q
i have used easy saver for 1 month with no problems but now it just stopped working, ive try uninstalling etc but no go. i click it on and off and it doesnt even change even if i have cool and quiet on or off

Look for services running.
1 start button, type services
2 look for the easy saver one and disable it
