Ebay cpu scam?

So I have been searching for a i7 4790k on ebay. Every once and awhile one pops up for 55 or so dollars in brand new condtion. Buy it now option no bidding.The seller has zero feedback and it says its in the states not over seas. I think it's a scam what do you guys think. Should I risk the 55 dollars or stay away.

In the item listing it says it comes with the cpu. Brand new and sealed.

Ebay sellers say alot of things. Im not saying its listed as the box, im saying thats what youll receive.
If the listing sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

How about you bid on it and put a condition that someone representing you wd verify it physically. Do this in a message. If he/she bucles out, fake.. if not, consider placing a bet 😀

They always do it as a buy now. No bidding. I've messaged the sellers before and get no response. Plus the item sells real quick. Only up for a few mins.

Then either its fake or the item is stolen or poorly refurbished..
dont go for it..

The solution is simple - - don't buy PC components through Ebay unless new & boxed, and seller has 90-100% positive feedback.
