that kind of upgrade really isn't worth it... just stick with your old CPU (unless it's broken, which means u're replacing it)

if he had good feedback, just make sure u read terms and agreement + the rules on ebay especially in terms of warranty / return policy
in case something happen

Is it a fixed price, or an auction?
If the seller has good feedback, I would not worry too much
if you can test the unit within a week.
Pay only with paypal.
Ebay protects buyers much better than sellers.
If the cpu is not as advertised, you can return it.

If you have a Z overclockable motherboard, it would be a good upgrade.
Otherwise, not so much.

As the other dude said, a link would be helpful in determining it's legitimacy.
The only reason you would want to upgrade to this model is for overclocking (and only if your motherboard supports it). Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend bothering with it. It is not a huge difference. Might as well wait until you upgrade the motherboard, and get a newer gen processor.
