Echo Problems

Does it actually do any good to report an echo problem to customer service?
I receive an echo about 60% of the time when close to my home, sometimes
it's so bad I can't even have a conversation - other times it's just
annoying.

Could be a problem in the noise cancellation device on VZW's equipment. Call
CS and report the problem.

I meant echo cancellation. You might want to call from a landline to report
the problem though, so they can hear you.

Everyone can hear me fine, it's just a bad echo on my phone....not all the
time.

Very common on LG 4400 and 4500; It happens once in a while our 4500's;
used to happen w/ 4400 as well. Doesn't happen all the time, thankfully.
When it does I just try to block out my voice coming back to me twice... Not
what you'd expect from a quality phone.

No, it's not like I have a "way" to do this. I sort of hold the phone away
from my ear while I'm talking. Kind of a hassle, huh?

Does the new firmware update solve the problem?
