ECO on or off on my new monitor ?

I got my new LG EA93 29''. In it's menu i can either set ECO on or off.

I can see that the display is slightly brighter with this setting on.

Should i leave in on ? And what does it do exactly? Consumes more power?

To me turning on ECO would mean that it should consume less power since I assume is it "economy".

What might be happening is that the monitor has a sensor which it uses to determine how bright the screen should be based on ambient light. Perhaps it's in a very bright room which means the monitor is set to higher brightness to make it easier to read / see.

Ok. What about response time for gaming ? Low , medium or high ?

It's listed at 5ms so that would be considered medium.
