ECS a740gm m does not read geforce gt220

Hello I got an old ECS a740gm m and i've been using it for quite some time
Now i got an old palit gt220 from an old pc
Ive tried it on other pc's (the gt220) and it worked fine
Now when i tried to mine, it does not read detect it.
Onboard video worked fine and when i boot to windows, it does not
detect it. Theres nothing detected on the device manager. And
when i tried installing the software/ driver for the card, it says it does not detect the card.
I got a corsair vs450 psu
My motherboard has a PCIE x16 slot.

Its odd but ecs makes alot of boards for other companys yet there boards never seem to function well just saying been there done that with them have you updated your board via there website?

yeah its very much updated bios, chipset drivers, etc.
