Hello,

I've struggling for weeks now trying to fix my old father pc.

Here's the story. The pc suddenly gives no display and after some troubleshooting i just found out that the problem is on the video card.

Long story Short i just messed up the motherboard because i thought it was the problem of no display because of i didn't hear any beep or anything and I did reset the CMOS by removing the battery and shorting the 2 (idk what called that.)

After buying a new graphics card and new psu i managed to make the computer work but when i'm about to install a fresh new OS it didn't find any hard drive available in the windows 7 GUI installer. and it didn't show at BIOS sata controller settings.

Any Help Will Be Appreciated!

Here's the computer specs :

MOTHER BOARD : ECS H61H2-M12
CPU : INTEL G630
HDD : WESTERN DIGITAL 500GB
RAM : 2GB KINGSTON
PSU : GENERIC (New)
GPU : GT 210 (New)

Sorry for my grammar!

Thanks in Advance

Check HDD has power and sata data cables connected correctly
For sata data check both ends
Then in a different sata port
Then different data cable ( borrow one from DVD drive)

In some bios unused sata ports can be disabled to save a second on post

Finally try HDD in another PC or in a USB tray or adapter on another PC to confirm not a dead HDD
