Is this motherboard bottlenecking my gaming performance?, it only has 4 pin connector for I think CPU, and it's a MATX motherboard. I currently have i7-3770 and GTX 760 Striker Platinum, I'm saving up to buy a GTX 970 but I'm thinking if it would be beneficial to upgrade my motherboard first. Thanks!

Solution
M-ATX is a size spec. It is irrelevant to performance.

The 4 pin connector is appropriate for your motherboard.
8 pins is only needed for sli and rigs with many attached devices to the motherboard.

Save your money.

What kind of stability issues?, can you give me some? because I might have. and it doesn't have gold capacitors or other fancy features of a gaming motherboards. I think I'm gonna go for the gpu first ,

thanks for the help 😀

Does the computer crash during gaming, do you get blue screens etc? Basically, does the computer function normally? If it does, keep the motherboard and save your money.

Thankyou sir, I just upgraded from 760 to 980 G1, thanks 😀
