If I have two browser sessions to import to Microsoft Edge, will Edge overwrite the information I have on there now? Meaning, say I have a Mozilla Firefox session and a Brave session I would like to transfer to my Edge browser in order to only have one browser with all my stuff, will my current Edge session be overwritten? And if I import the first session (say the Mozilla one), will the second import (the Brave one) overwrite the first one? Basically the question I'm asking is, does every single import overwrite the previous one? Or does it add on to it?

Solution
I don't think it imports duplicates but it will put everything else in your favourites

I just ran it on Edge and imported FF & Chrome info in and as far as I can tell, it got it all.
I can only find people asking about this feature but nothing on the actual feature itself.

Did you ask on reddit a few weeks ago?

what do you mean by sessions? is it the history of your usage per day?

obviously you can import data into the browsers such as bookmarks and such, those don't overwrite if its anything like its always been.

My bad. By sessions I just means bookmarks. Will Brave and Firefox bookmarks overwrite my current Edge bookmarks or be added beside them? You're saying no, if I understand you correctly.

So, I would be safe importing first my brave browser bookmarks into edge, and then a second html file with my firefox bookmarks. And during the entire process, no previous bookmarks would be overwritten. Is that correct?
