Edimax Wireless Network Adapter Driver Won't Install Correctly

I plugged in the adapter to a USB port and used the disc to install the driver using the instructions it came with but when I go to networks I get a message saying no networks available and that my network adapter doesn't have a correctly installed driver.

Try grabbing a newer version of the driver from their website.
