Is it possible to change the device id of my gpu to another gpu, ex- Gtx 650ti to Gtx 680 or Gtx 660ti.?. I know I wont get any performance diff. Just to show off to my friends . I wanna change vram size and device id alone. No overclocking or that stuff.

Why fake something. Show them the box and everything.

Can I not edit it with nibitor or Kepler golden bios bios editor or something like that?, if I edit the device id, will my card stop working even if I keep the original bios of my card with only device id changed?

From my understanding even if they try to sell 'fake' gpu for example GTX680 they still need GK104 chip to do it. GTX650 is based on GK107. Although i don't really remember the detail so i could be wrong. I think that's why nvidia try to put more security on their BIOS recently. Although the moves probably were not well received by open source community.

What if I save my bios with gpuz and edit it with nibitor or kgb editor and just change my device ID to Gtx 680 and flash the changed bios to my card?, will I fry my card if I do so?,. And btw aliexpress site sells these fake cards.

most likely. i think those fake cards are not simply flashing the BIOS. most likely the need to hack down to hardware level. also the fact that these fake cards can be detected using GPU-Z means that there is still a flaw in their method. for example while GPU Z report the card as GTX660 but other info still displayed correctly. means GPU-Z will report actual active shader count and actual bandwidth of the card. since the displayed info did not match 660 spec it is known the card was 'forged' using GK106 defective chip. that's why recently nvidia tighten up their hardware security

Well the first thing is even using BIOS mean for the card can brick the said card. It is something you should not play around with unless there are valid reason to do so. AFAIK gpu BIOS flash is still not as easy as mobo BIOS flash. And doing like you want to do right now will lead to warranty being voided
