This build is for modeling 3D work and rendering that work, editing (i.e Photoshop and Premiere) and some light gaming. I went with the Ryzen 5 and Radeon RX580 because of the price point but I was thinking maybe going with Ryzen 7 2700 or GTX1660. I have a strict budget of $1450CAD but prefer a build around the 1200 dollar mark. Cheers

In all honesty if you want that extra 2gb and want something cheaper go with the RX 580, if you want something new and a bit more powerful go with the 1660 or 1660ti it shouldn't matter that much. Between CPU's - correct me if I'm wrong - the 2700 is octa core and the 2600x is hecta core. Also if you're gonna overclock get the 2700, else the 2600x is better for gaming but worse for other things. It really shouldn't matter but I would probably go with the R7 2700, RX 580 8gb and make sure you have 16gb, especially if you may do video editing as 16gb is minimun.
