So I want to setup a new editing PC. I already have A monitor/mouse/keyboard. I also already have a case (ATX) 1tb hdd and Asus disk drive. So could anyone reccomend the rest of the parts for under 600 dollars?

This would be the absolute minimum.
You will need a hyperthreaded 4 core CPU, i7 is out of the question since it will eat half your budget, maybe xeon 1231? You will also need a H97 chipset with 16 gigs of RAM, as fast as possible. Cruicial memory is the cheapest I believe. Then you take the rest and get the best gfx card for your money.
