Hi,

It's time to move to a new PC and I would love to hear your thoughts.
I have D850 so the RAW files I'm working on are big. I use Lightroom and Photoshop.
Below is what I thought in terms of the components. I would love to get your input/corrections/suggestions since this is the first time I am doing a build by myself:

CPUAMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8 GHz 12-Core Processor
CPU CoolerCorsair H115i PRO 55.4 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
MotherboardAsus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard
MemoryG.Skill Ripjaws V 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory
StorageWestern Digital Blue 3 TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive
StorageCrucial MX500 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

This is $2800 build (with the monitor). Again-would love to hear any opinion regarding this build.

Thank you very much in advance.

Looks great-thank you! My only comment would be around the monitor-I haven't seen if/how much Adobe RGB it actually supports.
This might be what you are looking for...
"This model can provide vibrant and lifelike colors thanks to its 10-bit interface which helps it produce 100% coverage of the sRGB and Adobe RGB gamuts, 97.7% DCI-P3, and 76.9% of Rec. 2020. At a glance, these specs are already impressive to make any professional designer swoon over this premium product. "

I mean that looks like a pretty good build although I think the 2060 could be improved you could get a lightly used 1080 or 1080 ti for close to the same price or maybe see if you can spring for a 2070

I am by no means an expert on the topic of photo editing, but do you really need 12 cores for that? I think it comes down to the time you save per render and if you do this professionally or not.
If "time is money"applies I am all in for that cpu. If you do this as a hobby and you can spare a couple of seconds on a render you could save a lot of money with a 2700x and a b450 board.
Cheers
