Question EFI Error

Hello,

I have a tablet PC which has an EFI error problem.

When I turn the device on, a black screen appears immediately with this text:

EFI Shell version 2.40 (5.11)
Current running mode 1.1.2
map: Cannot find required map name.

Press ESC in 1 seconds to skip startup.nsh, any other key to continue.
Shell>

What may be happening? Is some component damaged and could be replaced or the entire motherboard is bad and I should throw this tablet PC away?

Likely BIOS is messed up. With AIO systems, it might not be an easy fix. List make/model for starters.
