EFS Problem on windows 10

I've Encrypted File exported to my External HDD also with My Certification Key before I install windows 10, But unfortunately. That Key was in the same Folder when I encrypt the file. Easy to say. I lock the house with the key in it. So that I can't open my file or import my certification either. what should I do?

Hope you have a backup of that file because there's nothing you can do without the certificate. Wouldn't be very secure if there was a way around it now, would it?
