So basically i got this dope laptop this summer with a GTX 1060 in it (6gb) and I was upgrading from an old desktop that I put another GTX 1060 (3gb) inside cuz it had bad graphics before. So now I remembered reading about dual graphics cards and I thought hey, why dont i try that since i already got them. So i got a egpu thingy

and a 700W PSU (I know its not the issue cuz the fan turns on) and i set it all up (I'll skip the part of molten wires) and afterwards, it all works good; the fans on both the GPU and the PSU run, but the issue is that it loads the ASUS logo and then the screen goes black and the eGPU stays on but nothing works, my USB keyboard and mouse's lights turn off and everything except the laptop keyboard itself lights up (idk if its relevant) and also the light off the thingy (1>) turns on green (still dont know if it has relevance)
and I thought I wouldn't need new drivers because id be using SLI and both cards are the same (except for the memory). Why doesn't it work?
