But over viewing the benchmarks on the 760. Seems pretty impressive! I can handle the 250$ price mark. And for my lvl of gaming i think thats the ultimate value for me. Decent card for a good price! I may go EVGA on it

I build a lot of boxes for other people .... the two 780s were for me .... the two 770s for someone else....local kid, friend of my son's ... didn't have a credit card so I used mine.

Here's the build I just finished ..... well not finished.... let's just say "finished the plumbing". Still have all the sleeving to do

I bought the two cards .... Son No. 2 stole the 1st set of games ..... Son No. 3 stole the 2nd .... I haven't played any of them yet :)

Can you help me out. Im trying to budget. Anyway way to slash a few bucks off these items

Yeah man i know! I really wanted the EVGA or the MSI TF OC Edition to. But i seriously dont think i can squeeze that much out of my budget 🙁

Its just to much. Ive already been dropping tons of money into this build. The gtx 760 benchmarks seem plenty good enough for me!

The Asus owns the 780 slot (well outside the Ligtning and Classified), MSI the 770 .... 760 has been more competitive but again.....wud have to give it to the MSI ..... and at $239 why wud ya even look any further .... only the Hawk and Amp versions are clocked higher.

Ill be watching everyday. I probably wont be able to order mine till the weekend after chirstmas or so. So depending on money (glad im going to have a big pay check from work this week) I still may be able to get a 770. *Fingers crossed*

I was looking at EVGA Overclocked edition. But i still may be able to get a 770. Its a maybe but a possibility

EDIT: Im looking at EVGA, because their giving away like 3-4 games with their cards. Its a hard offer to pass up! Plus their cards look nice

It's an nVidia promotion...everyone giving those games away .... I bought 4 cards in last month two 780s / 2 770s), all had 3 games.

760's come with for $240

Im looking at the M5A99X EVO MOBO (was looking at m5a97 r2.0 but ive read mixed reviews on it) comments???

HDD im looking at is the WD Caviar Blue

RAM Is the G Skill Ripjaws X series 2x4GB 1600

Or would you stick with all that?

Make sure to not just look for deals on 770s newegg (and elsewhere) will sometimes have coupon codes at the bottom of email deals like 10% off any item up to like $50 those can be better than actual specific deals in cases like the 770 where 10% is like $30 off

I find when ya scrimp too much, ya always wind up spending more money in the end... best bet maybe to see how nice Santa is cashwise and meybe scrape up a few extra bucks with some odd jobs.....save money in the long run.
