[SOLVED] Eithernet connected but no internet.

So when i diagnose my ethernet in network connections it says "Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding." I've tried a number of things including uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it, ipconfig /release and after ipconfig /renew. it obtains the IP address automatically and it obtains the DNS server address automatically. ive cleared my DNS cashe and reset my IP settings. also I lose wifi at 10PM every night till i wake up around 8-9AM every morning. i had my PC do a full scan and it didnt show up with any virus or malware. This is my first PC I don't know what i'm doing here.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Run "ipconfig /all" via the Command Prompt and post the results.

Make and model router? The router's logs (if available and enabled) may provide some clue as to what is or is not happening.

Who has full admin rights to the router? You will need help from that person.

try the following but if you are not confident get somebody to help you.

right click the icon to the internet to the left of your speaker icon , click on change adaptor options , right click your internet connection icon and choose properties , click on internet protocol v 4 to highlight it then properties , on the bottom half of the page you are looking at now , click on the button use the following dns , now in the first box you need 8 8 8 8 and in the second you need 8 8 4 4 , finally tick validate settings before exit .
