Hello,

I ordered a Hercules PV 920 Pro DVI back in december but just found out that the company has ended their TFT line.
Now I am in desperate search for a new one which is comparable in quality (esp. the refresh time).
I have reduced my search to the following three displays:
- Iiyama ES431B
- Samsung 172x
- Eizo L550

The latter is a new player I believe and I couldn't find any review of it on the net.
Any comments on the 3 panels (and esp. on the "EIZO") would be welcome.

Thx in advance.

I've cancelled my PV920 PRO DVI and I'm looking at the Iiyama too. Have you found any reviews?

No, I haven't seen that many reviews on the Iiyama either. A lot of owner reviews but no professional ones.
I'm not so sure about that 172x anymore. There is a lot of discussion going on whether it is indeed such a good display as the specs will want you to believe.
That EIZO confuses me a bit in its ergonomics. I wonder whether I need an additional stand for this display or not.
Another contender has entered the room though: NEC's LDC1760.

Damn, I wished Hercules would change their mind :>(

The EIZO looks funny, don't understand how it's supposed to stand. I also looked at the NEC but the design is terrible, like looking at a tv from 1956!

Either you mount it to an arm or mount it on a stand or leave it as is standing on your table. This is the only thing which still bothers me too. From the specification p.o.v. it looks pretty good I must say.
Still waiting for the first review to appear though!
