Eizo L565 Vs Viewsonic VP171b

Please help. I'm currently search for a new LCD monitor. I want to know which of these LCD monitors is better, Eizo L565 or Viewsonic VP171b.

You're comparing a new LCD monitor model with an old one. The VP171b was released in Apr 2003 while the L565 has been around for more than 1 year. The VP171b has a video response time of 16ms, and that of the L565 is 30ms. Also, the VP171b offers more features than the L565, such as direct compatibility with the HDTV high-scan 720p format, pivot/height adjustability and ultra-slim bezel design.

How about image quality btw the two?

Eizo monitors are well-known for their excellent image quality, and the L565 is no exception either. Even though it's an old model, the L565 still out-performs many of today's top LCD monitors from other companies including VP171b. Nevertheless, you should keep in mind that the 30ms response time on the L565 is kind of slow when compared to the other latest LCD's.
