[SOLVED] Eject USB storage problem

Hello
Since about a week I have a problem with the Eject USB storage on my Win 10, whatever it's an external SSD or HDD or SD card reader
''This device is currently in use.....''
What could be the cause?

You don't really need to eject a drive anymore as long as there is no data transferring going on. Most liekly it is Windows indexing service causing this, Seagate as a through explanation and solutions

there is a chance its a bios settings marking the sata port as removable, I have similar on my hdd, it shows in there

Go to your BIOS / UEFI . In advanced options there can be an entry to turn SATA Hot Plug on or off for each SATA port.

It's not with internal SSD but external one over USB
