components:
CPUi5 7400
GPU rx gigabyte 570 4gb
motherboard gigabyte h110m-s2h
ram 16gb Dr
psu aerocool integrator 500w (know its a bit crap but it has worked fine for me so far)
1tb hhd
Things to note: the buzzing sound only comes on while gaming this can be any game from Esports to AAA. the buzzing sound was not around about a week ago. the card is second hand but was working fine when installed in and has done so for the last two months.
Below is a YouTube video that has the noise. you can hear it better at around 0.12 seconds in.
https://youtu.be/sHbKUAuEGCA
the sound seems to be originating from around the PCI-E 16 slot.
i am looking into replacing my motherboard or PSU to see if the noise will go away but i am a bit hesitant as i don't want to throw money away only to find that the noise persists.
Do you guys think that this is a PSU/Motherboard issue or is my GPU acting up?
if it is coil whine what methods would you guys suggest to reduce/eliminate the sound?
if you need any more Information i will happily go into more detail.
Any help would be truly appreciated
many thanks in advance:
