Think of getting the Metro DataVac Electric Duster ED500. Anyone one know if its any good? Im sick of buying those $10 air dusters that barely seem to have enough air when i dust when i could probably just save money buying this.

It should work ok. I've got a datavac pro which has 5cfm less (65 vs 70cfm) of the ed500. Works similarly to a can of compressed air, maybe not quite as well only because even the 'pin point' tip isn't as narrow so the pressure leaving the end is a bit less. Still works pretty well considering. Compressed air cans only work so well so neither are perfect, the nice thing about the datavac is not having to buy the cans and not chancing blowing liquid onto parts from the condensation that builds up with canned air.

I'm not seeing the 5 star available as Phillip mentioned, maybe it's out of stock or discontinued on the regular amazon.com site. Other inexpensive 4 packs seem to run around $20, the datavac ed500 can be had for around $60...
I have heard they are all terrible from around the web from people who haven't been paid to advertise it. Haven't actually used one.

Got me thinking though, what about an airbrush compressor with a water trap/filter and an air gun attachment sorta like this: https://www.amazon.com/Hiltex®-31111-Angled-Aluminum-Standard/dp/B001NYTBY8/ but sized for the hose on the smaller airbrush compressors.

It is an idea at least, either way they are fairly cheap overall considering the cost of compressed air.

Either way they're good for quick cleaning but neither the electric dusters or compressed air cans actually get things spotless. There's always a thin layer/film of dust left behind that ends up requiring a cloth whether for the case panels or interior surfaces, fan blades etc. Just my experience. Doesn't mean they're useless, I use mine for all my electronics and other various things where I need to dust things off but don't need a full blown air compressor. Mine's still running strong after 2-3yrs. I got tired of buying compressed air from local stores as the price went from around $3/can to $4, $5, $8.
