Tldr: replacing thermistor, how to do it? Which is a better replacement for 2.5d-13? And what is the name of the plug in the second link?
Bought an ebike scooter.
Needed off board charging, the guy at the shop rigged something for me.
The battery is 72v45ah battery
The charger is a 6amp charger.
Anyways I'm going to replace the thermistor.
It's a mf-2.5d-13 thermistor
Specs are as follows:
2.5 6 0.088 13 60
Res ohms 2.5
Max steady state current 6
R. Of max current 0.088
Dissi.coef 13
Thermal time constant s 60
Here are some pictures of the battery with red connectors.
The rigged piece.
The charger.

My issue is it'll probably burn out again. 3 quick questions.
1. Is there a better thermistor that can be used that will be more durable less likely to burn out?
2. When I get it I know where to solder it. I was just going to put it in the same position and same orientation. Is that enough? Is there any tips or warning I should know of?
3. What plug is this:
