Question Electrical buzzing/dimmer light switch/grasshopper sound from RM650i PSU

Hi, I've noticed that my power supply has been making an electrical buzzing sound which almost sounds like a dimmer light switch buzzing or the noise grasshoppers make, I doubt its the coil whine sound as it sounds more like electric flowing instead of the vibrating sound of coil whine.

Can anyone guess whats going on or how serious it is?

And I don't know how long its been going on for I've only noticed.

When does it do this? When the PC is up and running or when the PC is off and in standby?

It doesn't happen when my computers off or sleeping, only when its on.

All the time, it's just a tiny bit more louder when playing games.

Are you sure your electrical outlets have proper Earth ground?

The thing is the sound is only heard when I'm right close to the psu (just about hear it 30cm away max). I can't hear it any other distance. And the computer been working fine all this time.

Oh.. Then there's nothing wrong with the PSU. I thought you could actually hear it over everything else.

So that's the usual sound it makes when you're up close to a power supply. Is it the transistors that make that sound? I was just being super paranoid?

Transistors? No. Magnetics like coils and transformers? Yes.
