electricity drain laptop

My laptop requires electricity drian after every shutdown it is a battery problem or something else messing up. My laptop is dell inspiron15 3000 series

Define electricity drain? Can you post a picture of where it says that this is a requirement?

Also, I used to have an Inspiron 15 in the 3000 series... It was pretty crappy... Dual core at 2.3GHz, 4GB RAM, onboard video... Cost $600. I really wanted something else but my father refused to buy anything else at the time...

I'm actually getting better performance out of my old Latitude E6400.

I'm actually getting better performance out of my old Latitude E6400.

Laptop is not asking for it so I cannot post a screenshot. Secondly I have to take out the battery unplug it and hold the power button for 30 seconds and then plug in again and laptop starts working again perfectly. When battery is fully charged it won't start I have to repeat above steps on every start-up if I fully charge the battery.
