Pretty cool. I did something "similar" to my kids PowerWheels Jeep a few years back. I didn't go the RPi route and to that level. I did upgraded it with a Mp3/FM speaker system, dual larger batteries, and higher torque motors. The biggest issue was the higher power motors caused too much havoc. I kept melting different components. Fix one, find another week spot. I finally got it all working great, and then broke the gear box due to much torque. Now it just sit in the shed because kids got too big.
