Elements EL788A case.

Has anyone heard of the Elements EL788A case?

I can't seem to find this case anywhere. I'm trying to locate the specs and pricing for this case.

Never heard of a manufacturer called Element. I googled it and didn't come up with anything. If it doesn't show up on google it doesn't exist, lol.

I tried Google and newegg.com and got nothing that is why I asked the question. I assumed that since a lot of people on this board build their computers, they may have heard of that case.

A local (Austin, TX) PC builder is building a computer for my mom and my mom wanted me to check out the specs since she knows nothing about computers.

I'm guessing this is a "value line" rebadged case of a more well know manufacturer.

That could be. If she wants you to check out the specs does that mean it is a whole computer and not just a case?
Maybe that is a local dealer or something?

She wants me to check out the whole computer. I never heard of the Elements case so I posted here to see if anyone was familiar with the case.

I'm e-mailing the builder back. I'm going to get the case and PSU specs from him.

The rest of the parts in the system are name brands that I recognize.

Get at least a 80 gig drive, will cost about $ 10 more.

You can get a DVD-ROM/CDRW combo drive for a little extra money.

PC 2700 memory is a waste, 3200 will probably cost the same.

I was going to go for a SATA Western Digital HD. I don't have a lot of faith in the IBM/Hitachi Deathstars. 40 Gigs more than enough space but from a $/GB perspective the 80 Gig HD are a better deal.

This system needs to last at least 5 years I was going to recommend better RAM (2700 ---> 3200) and a better video card. (Radeon 7000 ----> ~$50-$100 DirectX 9.0 card i.e. Radeon 9550 or 9600)

My mom has had a 40gb drive for years and hasn't even used 4gb of it yet, lol.
