Hey guys,

Just purchased an Elgato HD60 Pro but it will not show as a display in NVIDIA control panel so I can't clone my main display to the capture card. The HDMI passthrough also does not work.

The capture card does work, I can see the device in OBS and record and see the image, it just wont do HDMI passthrough and doesnt show as a device in device manager etc.

Drivers and firmware are up to date. Tried the card in PCIe x1 and PCIe x16, all PCIE slots are 3.0.Not using any unidirectional cables, all cables work in other devices.

Setup is Gaming PC/Console -> HD60 Pro -> Monitor.

I know the problem lies with my stream PC not detecting the card as display/monitor/device, its just weird that the card works with OBS.

Stream PC specs:
OS: Windows 10
CPU: Intel i5-6600k 3.5 GHz
CPU FAN: Stock Intel CPU Fan
GPU: MSI GTX 960 Gaming 2GB
RAM: 16GB DDR3 1333MHz Corsair Vengeance
MOBO: GA-H170-HD3 DDR3
SSD: 120GB Kingston
HDD: 160GB Maxtor
PSU: Corsair VS550
CASE: GameMax Silent
Capture Card: Elgato HD60 Pro

This is literally the last thing I need to do for my dual PC setup, cant find anyone else having this issue at all :S

Any ideas?

Many thanks!
Adam

Okay so I think the tiredness kicked in... I will never see the HD60 as a display on the PC its in... the Gaming PC is where I duplicate the displays... I'm an idiot haha. So that solves one problem but I still cant get my Nintendo switch to pass through the capture card.
