I have EliteBook HP 2560p on Windows 7 Professional and an Optibay 9.5mm SATA 2.5 SSD HD HDD DVD Hard Disk Drive Caddy Enclosure Box Case Adapter.

My task: boot this notebook from 2nd HDD, I need to have CentOS on it. But once you install the above mentioned adapter - you can't see the choice to boot from it. When native DVD installed, it can boot from DVD, but when you change it for adapter with second HDD - it can't boot from it. Adapter is working: under Windows 7 you can see second HDD without any problem.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Should be a way to do this. Before I had 2 OS on 1 notebook, but the problem is that EliteBook has at least 2 passwords to enter before you load Windows. As I think you can't instal third party boot loader to have a choice of them. If anyone has a solution, please share.
