Emachine Monitor Wont Power On

Hello,

A friend of mine has an emachine :/, the monitor has decided not to power on anymore and I am trying to see if I can repair the monitor. I had a Samsung 32in LCD that went out on me and I pulled the back off and found a bad capacitor. After I figured out the kind of capacitor, I went downstairs and found a matching replacement in an old computer power supply. I soldered in the used replacement and the T.V. worked again.

I was wondering if anyone on here has ever had an issue with this monitor or a similar one? Specs are below.

Make - eMachine
Model - LE1799
Size - 17 inch

You did well on the Samsung.
