I have 99' Emachines with Cyrix 686 Processor with 384 MB Ram

1. Is it capabale of downloading WIN 2000 alongside WIN 98?

2. What about just WIN 2000 as the only Operating system?

(Currently have WIN 98)

You would need to make VERY sure there were available drivers if you
were to have any measure of success.

You might want to think about a new machine. I have run Windows 2000 on a
machine as slow as a Pentium with 128 MB of ram (comapny wanted w2k but
didn't want to buy new compuaters). I wouldn't recommend runnign it on your
machine either. It would run very sluggish. A 133 mhz processor and 64mb is
the minimum requirements. Plus finding drivers might be an issue. When you
install w2k very few devices are recognized.
