Email Gone after BSOD!

I had a bad pool data BSOD after which all my mailboxes (*.mbx and *.toc) files disappeared from the system. What used to be gigs of emails, now gone! Ran a deleted file search, which turned up nothing. How does this happen and how can I fix it? I'm using Eudora OSE. I do have a backup, but it is older. At least I can use that.

if you have more than one data partition. Make sure your drive letter assignments did not get re assigned.

@scout_03 Nothing at all. I can get new email, send out email, but I can't see any messages or read any messages. It's very strange.

since the last version was 8.0 and support has been off i would retry the old version you have look like on the net it is based to thunderbird from my search .

Download and install WinDirStat. If the files are still there, this will be able to find them.

Here's more to add to the head-scratcher... I installed thunderbird, just for fun since nothing else seemed to work. Once I did EVERYTHING was there. All my accounts, all my emails, everything. Part of the problem, I think is that the files were in roaming, not apps where I thought it was. I say this because it has today's date on it.

the eudora is base on thunderbird so the install of it might have reset everything in the mail .
