So I plugged earphones into my front IO with a splitter (splitting it into two separate earphone and microphone jacks) and I got this loud buzzing noise so I turned down the Microphone boost to 0dB but the buzzing was still there but it soon died off to where I couldn't or barely hear it when doing some as light weight as listening to spotify but if I played a game with them in the buzzing would reappear. I then tried different earphones and I'd still hear the buzzing when in game and sometimes not even in a game I'd have to put a bit of pressure on the jack just to hear anything. I then tried a headset and I couldn't hear the buzzing in game and I'm not sure whether that was cause they were too loud to hear it or not but sometimes I'd still have to put pressure on its jacks too just to hear clearly through them. It good that I can hear better without the buzzing through the headset but I'd rather use earphones.
I then read about EMI and interference with with front io audio but I don't know how I could reroute the wire to avoid interference when the header is directly above the PSU. Then would a soundcard even make much of a difference when I'm having to put pressure on a jack on the front io. The jacks in the back io work fine with earphones when in a game so I'd use them but I don't have earphones long enough and don't think id find any decent ones that would have the length needed unless I get something like a DAC?
