from Bluesnews:

A speculative question from 3000 AD's Derek Smart on the Adrenaline
Vault Forums polls interest in him acquiring the rights to Freespace
3, making the following statements in a pair of posts:

"Derek Smart, yeah, that would be me, got the license from my friends
at Interplay (a publisher I had very good experiences with); would you
buy Freespace 3 if I made it?"

and

"I have already contacted my Interplay contact about it btw."

Quite possibly the LAST person in the world ever I'd want to have that
IP.
