Empty cd/dvd/bd drive makes loading/ejecting sound

Hello,

I just received a Dell XPS L521X as a warranty replacement. I have noticed that every time I boot up the laptop, start iTunes, or plug in a USB drive, the optical drive makes the load/eject noise. Any ideas on what is causing this? I have tried disabling the drive in device manager and it still makes the noise... Strange.

Boot up: it's the first device in bios boot order. Change the boot order to fix it.
iTunes: iTunes is looking for an audio/video cd/dvd in the drive. I don't know anything about iTunes, but you can change that probably somewhere in the settings.

BIOS update to A13 solved the issue with iTunes & USB. Will change the boot order to resolve the sound at start up. Thanks!
