Not sure if this is anything to worry about, or something I've never noticed. Lately, whenever I reboot my computer, just after Windows starts I see a few small windows open and close quickly. They are basically see through, except for the border, so I can't tell any information from them. I'm guessing it's just some program starting up, but then I worried it might be something bad. I've had some issues with my network connection lately, so I've been trying to clean up everything I don't need. I've also run the Windows and Malwarebytes free scans and nothing was found. Anything to worry about, or just ignore it? Thanks!

Some places to look in:

Task Manager > Start up

Look for apps etc. that you do not expect to see or may even be unknown.

Task Scheduler - a bit tougher but look there for rules that involve "triggers". Basically when something happens (stops, starts, changes) that action causes some other action(s).

Reliability History/Monitor - End user friendly and uses a time line format that can reveal patterns. Look for error codes, warnings, and even informational events that are being captured at the times you know Windows was starting and/or when the windows appear. The captured entries can be clicked for more detailed information. The details may or may not be helpful.

There are a couple of other tools that can be used as well. Start by exploring with the listed tools. Take your time, no need to rush, take screenshots for reference.
