"Enable ctrl key shortcuts" option grayed out in cmd

I'd love to enable this option, but for some reason it's grayed out Image, even if I run cmd in administrator mode. I'm using win10 home. What could I do to be able to enable it?

When you access the Options tab of the Command Prompt Properties dialog box, you'll discover several new options. However, those new options are grayed out by default. To enable them, you must first clear the Use legacy console check box (Figure C)."
I have yet to upgrade my PC to Win 10, but my guess is you may need to open the command prompt as the administrator.
Press <Windows key + X> and select "command prompt (Admin)" and see if that box is still greyed out. Hopefully it is no longer greyed out.
