enable fast write??

how can i enable fast write for my radeon 8500? i have already enabled it in bios, but smartgart tells me that its off in windows, when i try to enable it, it just goes back to off after i reboot.

What is your mainboard ? And please reflash the newest BIOS. And the fast write isn`t important for improving performance.
