Sorry For Noob Question

I Upgrade My PC to Ryzen 5 2600 while I Buy Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 3200Mhz (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16) to expect a good performace.
But Everytime i enable XMP on bios, my windows crash (BOSD) but not when i run it in default clock (2133 Mhz)
Here My Full Spec :
Mobo : ASrock B450 Steel Legend - accidentaly upgrade bios to p 2.70 ( agesa 1.0.0.3) when trying solve problem because xmp didnt run
RAM : Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 3200Mhz (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16)
(It Have Samsung Chip on it)
CPU : Ryzen 5 2600
Windows 10 (1709) i downgrade it from 1903 to see if that working to solve my BOSD problem, but nope :(
did it because i upgrade my BIOS? or i got a bad RAM? or 3200Mhz is not compatible with ryzen 2600?
Please Help Me...

ps: i read in this forum if XMP is for Intel Mobo so AMD user should set it manually on BIOS, is that true?

Thanks Before

Hello
Thanks For you reply

As i stated above my problem is when i turn on XMP on Bios (Asrock B450 Steel Legend) it BOSD my windows 10, did it because of bad XMP profile or bad RAM, or because i upgrade my BIOS
It give me Headache

I cannot post a screenshot right now, maybe later but i think it wont make a different

XMP (extreme memory profile) is a spec on the DRAM sticks that specifies how much faster above JEDEC standards that the memory can be run at. This is an Intel naming convention/Technology. The AMD equivalent does the same thing.

This depends on variances in hardware of course, and is not an absolute guarantee that you will be able to run the memory at the enhanced profile. You may need looser timings, lower frequencies, more power, etc, based on the variances in your system.

Since you are a newb just avoid the timings and voltage for now until you have better understanding about overclocking.
Just set the xmp profile and then manually bring the clockspeed down to 3000MHz and see if it's stable, if not then go below 3000MHz until it's stable.

I try run it on 2933Mhz with 15-15-17-17-35 and 1.35V (read in some forum) so far no BOSD
did i need to memtest it? or gaming is enough to test it?

ill try your suggestion later, 3000 looks better than 2933

Some people like to run through every benchmark in existence to validate a stable oc.
I personally just use the pc like I'd usually do and take extra care in saving everything frequently in case a crash happens. If it does I tweak the settings.
