I have a mouse whose LED wouldn't turn off when I shut my PC down.
So I went to BIOS and enabled ErP support, restarted my PC (Windows started normally) and shut it down to see if LED would turn off.

Well, the LED is off, but I can't start the PC at all, it's like it's dead. I press the power button and literally nothing happens. Please help!

Motherboard: Gigabyte H67M-D2
Mouse: CM Storm Devastator (w/ keyboard)

What is your PSU brand?

I remember that some PSU have problems with low power state and they are unable to start again, maybe you are locked at S5.

Unplug the Pc from power or shutdown the PSU with a sitch if you have one, give enought time to clear any residual charge and try to shut it on again.

I didn't have knowledge of this PSU, but is an entry level one and didn't show any support for low power state, also some analysis show that didnt behave well at low load:

The Chieftec CTG-600-80P is an inexpensive product with good electrical properties. It is noisy at high loads and somewhat unstable at zero or suddenly changing loads.

Anyway switching of the power cord must clear a deep sleep state, didnt start neither after that?

Not sure whats the problem then.

Some PSU when switched to deep sleep states (P5) have problems comming back, but if you power down the system that could not be the problem.

I would first reset the bios settings to get rid from ErP support and test if its work, you have a jumper to do it (but and THIS IS IMPORTANT you will clear all the bios values like start drives, settings, etc... if you have no knownledge about bios values maybe the system will be not be able to start with default values):

Use it and see if its able to start from scrath.

I managed to clear CMOS by removing the battery. For some reason, I couldn't really find my way around the jumper thing.
Everything is fine now, thank you very much!
