Question Enabling DSR Factors in Nvidia Ctrl Panel causes lagging in game ?

Hi everyone, so when I go to enable DSR Factors in The Nvidia Ctrl Panel which allows me to upscale to 1440p when I am playing PUBG I instantly go to 1400 ping and have 1 FPS. I have done this in game before and it didn't have an issue until about 2 months ago so I stopped doing it. I hadn't tried it again until today and again same issue as before. Nothing had changed with my system when it was working except for updates to games and hardware. All drivers should be up to date and they definitely were when the issues started happening. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance.

Hey there,

Did you do a clean install of the GPU driver? Sounds like it might just be a bug. You can use DDU to uninstall the drivers, and re-install the latest ones from the Nvidia Driver page. See if that helps.

Also worth a try to default the in game GPU settings and see if that changes anything after you set up your preferred settings again.

I haven't done the DDU install since the last update but I have done that in the past. I keep wondering if it's a hardware issue or PUBG being PUBG.
