Enabling via Viewsonic Headphone jack

Hi,

I've Viewsonic VA2038wm LED Monitor. i can see that there is a headphone jack at the back of the monitor, but when i plugg my headphone to it there is no sound. I've already plugged my headphone to the CPU and it works fine. I tried to update the drivers using Device manager but still no result. Please suggest...

The monitor might not be set as the default audio device. If you go to your Sound Card Settings, you should see a list of output devices. Right-click your monitor and set it as the default.

If you don't see your monitor, try right clicking a blank area of the list, and make sure 'Show disabled devices' is checked.
