When using DDR4 memory, the Core i7 9700K CPU officially supports memory speeds up to 2666 MT/s.

Of course you can overclock but 4000mhz might be a bit aggressive. Try 3600mhz and see how that goes. Adjust down from there. Confirm your ram is getting the correct 1.35 on Vcore.

I've been running it at 3700 for the past few days and haven't had any crashes. Thanks for your help!
