Hi all, i've had a good look around the forums and elsewhere online and haven't been able to resolve this from others similar past experiences. I'm simply turning on XMP in UEFI-BIOS, pressing Save & Exit and then i get the Black Screen of Death.

My PC Spec

CPUIntel i7 8700K 3.7Ghz
MoboROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC)
Memory4 x 8 GB G-Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 3200 - XMP 2.0 Ready
GPUGigabyte NVIDIA GTX 1080 G1-Gaming
Storage240GB SSD + 480GB SSD

UEFI-Bios Version 2401 (2019/07/18) Downloaded from ASUS Support here.

I have updated BIOS to the above, and removed CMOS for +30 Seconds both before doing so and after doing so.

Ram speed currently 2133Mhz without XMP :(

All 4 DIMM slots work and are reading the RAM.

Any ideas?

Hi mate sorry for reply a little bit late, I have some XMP trouble too before you can read my post here https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/enabling-xmp-profile-produces-audio-trouble-noise.3503933/, in my experience that if you already update your BIOS to the latest version then it should fix the problem. First, I'd recommend to downclocking your XMP speed for example from 3200 to 2400 in the BIOS option if it can run stable you can increase the speed until it reaches the limit, try to use some RAM memory test software for stability like memtest you can download here https://hcidesign.com/memtest/ to know if your ram has a good stability and free from error. If you have friends that have RAM you could borrow and try...
