I use encryption:

Bitlocker,
Veracrypt (both container and partition encryption)

What I want to know is, what happen if bad sector happen?

Can I still mount and safe the file inside?

OR

The whole partition/container file corrupt and I cant open it at all?

Dont tell me about backup, because I already have a lot of backups. I'm just curious.

Solution
A bad sector may corrupt the whole encrypted volume.
Or, the drive may reassign that data to a spare, and you never know it happened.

There is no 100% answer either way.
