Enermax PSU choice. "Revolution 86+" or new "Revolution X'T".

Hello.
New Enermax "X'T" power supply units arrived, just on time to confuse me, together with new Corsair RW series.

Seasonic is not available option at the moment and I don't trust Corsair for longevity in their power supply units.

Luckily I have Enermax as a choice, but which one?

1. Enermax Revolution87+ 650 Watt - 108eur

- I like the flat cables more on X'T model . No reviews.
- 87+ is multi-rail and reviewed everywhere.

If you want SLI in the future you will need a bigger PSU, unless you want to buy another PSU when you add the 2nd card. It looks like you will be overclocking so I wouldn't go with anything lower than 850w.

I think that I am very comfortable in 650 range.
The main question remains.

Either should be just fine for a single 770. Price is about the same, so it comes down to aesthetics. Since you like the cables on the X't go with that one.

That Enermax Revolution 87+ is listed in Tier 1 (the best tier). I can't imagine the Revolution X'T being too different, but, it isn't listed yet. It should be noted that the X'T is smaller, rated for 40C, instead of 50C, and has a three-year warrantry, not 5 year.

Yes!
That information is directly connected with caps quality over all power segments. (The overall % of HQ capacitors used, counts. Not just a few of them, so you can state that you have them in your PSU.)

Enermax "Revolution 87+", 750w ordered, for +2 euros.
